Visitors & Business Center Celebrates 5 Years: |
|
 On
July 15th, the Colusa County Chamber of Commerce and the
Colusa County EDC celebrated the fifth anniversary of
the Business & Visitors Center. The Business & Visitors
Center is a hub for Colusa County Visitor and Commerce
Information. On this day, the three entities celebrated
with a traditional Tri‐Tip BBQ, good company and
friends. This year the event kicked off with a Roy
Orbison impersonator as well as BBQ styled cake provided
from Katrina’s Sidewalk Café.
Approximately 50 people attended this event and enjoyed the
food, and entertainment. The Colusa County Chamber of
Commerce would like to thank Les Schwab Tires of Colusa
for sponsoring the BBQ event. We thank you all for your
support and we look forward to another year of promoting
and providing information about Colusa County.

Arbuckle Hosts Farmers Market:
Every Thursday Night from 4PM to 8PM in the newly built
La Vanche Hursh Park, the citizens of Arbuckle gather
around to take their pick at some of the counties
freshest produce and market goods. Starting in May, the
BBQ has been a success with over 150 people attending
the weekly market and at least 15 vendors in attendance.
Recently the Farmers Market has expanded to host a BBQ
dinner during the event. The BBQ is open to all
non-profit organizations in the County and currently the
Arbuckle Revitalization Committee, the Odd Fellows Hall
of Arbuckle, and the Colusa County Chamber of Commerce
have hosted multiple BBQ's.
This is a great event for
the family to enjoy and to support our local farmers and
economy. We invite anyone out to the Arbuckle Farmers
Market on Thursday Nights from 4PM to 8PM. |
